1. After a success, keep calling!
2. Take breaks when you need them. There is no sense in blowing leads simply because you are tired. You must, of course, distinguish between a legitimate need for a break and procrastinating and trying to put off making calls.
3. Stay calm. You will, for the most part, be talking to people who will appreciate your call. If a prospect is rude, remember: This is not personal. Move on.
4. Have fun with introductory calling. Make a game of it. Be creative. This is not life or death. It is only a telephone call.
